from several shops and a make-or- buy cision made. Close scrutiny will

4. Test Conduct****: With Central Engineering’s concurrence,
Chrysler Huntsville will engage the tunnel(s) and make all necessary arrange
ments for the tests. Pretest meetings will be held with the tunnel personnel
to resolve any difficult areas and to as U) £ mutual agr ement on all test
-
plans.
Models will be checked for dimensional accuracy and for proper fit of
all parts prior to shipment to the tunnel. CHO will arrange for model shipment
to the tunnel and insure that all parts arrive at their destination in original
condition. At the tunnel, calibrations will be made of all instrumentation
and checks made of all data reduction constants. Any pressure tubing will
be checked to insure against leaks. CHO will supervis D C the model installation
into the tunnel and will supervise all model changes during testing. During
the tests, checks will continually be made of data being recorded to validat D C
its accuracy and insure proper trends. Any abnormalities will be immediately
investigated. Repeat runs will be made on each configuration to assure
data repeatability and increase accuracy. Concerted efforts will be con-
tinually exercised to keep accuracies to the highest order. An accurate
run log will be maintained containing all information
