Developmental testing will continue at a low priority with the
engineering unit installed in the Owens/Baker race car to gain experience with
hardware under race conditions.
Motorola has promised to obtain two of their new 4 watt walkie-
talkie 450 me band portables for evaluation testing in a race car environment.
3 • Mobile Control Center
The center will ot service any races or score any races in the near
future due to funding limitations.
If ABC Sports reacts favorably to the system they will be supported at
the Talladega race. ABC will be billed lor service rendered.
