                  G. FACILITIES AND CAPABILITY

Chrysler Corporation Space Division, Huntsville Operations, is a completely inte
grated electrical, electronic, and mechanical engineering research, design, development,
and manufacturing organization, situated at the Huntsville Industrial Center and Huntsville
Research Park. Chrysler facilities particularly applicable to the proposed program are
                  described below.

                          1. Engineering Facilities:

Chrysler Huntsville engineering activities are sustained at both the Huntsville
Industrial Center and the Huntsville Research Park. These facilities support the engineering
effort with liberal space provisions, a suitably controlled physical environment, and a full
panoply of equipment, from drafting tables and devices to machinery for the reproduction
and publication of engineering documentation. The physical plant available to engineering
can accommodate an extensive expansion of personnel with minimum phisical rearrangement.
Capability encompasses the entire spectrum of design and development engineering, together
with the related disciplines of reliability engineering, value engineering, standards engineer
ing, logistics engineering, and manufacturing engineering.

                          2. Illustration Facilities:

Ranging from routine and simple art through conceptual and complex technical
illustrations, the CHO illustration capability provides the highest quality professional art
suitable for presentation of technical and non-technical data. Our illustrators combine a
broad experience in engineering principles, methods, and techniques with an extensive knowl
edge of art techniques, layout skills, art media, and processes. This enables CHO to pro
vide a thorough and varied background in all phases of industrial and commercial art. Our
personnel are particularly adept at conceiving and designing illustrations from sketches,
verbal description or engineering models of prototype hardware by creatively translating
technical data through discussions with engineers and designers. All CHO illustrators are
familiar with the general specifications and standards of industry and have the ability and
flexibility to provide products and services in accordance with specific requirements upon
                  request.

                          3. Computer Facilities:

A general Electric 415 Information Processing System is available at
ChryslerTs Huntsville Industrial Center location. This system includes the necessary
peripheral machines required for engineering and scientific computation. The configura
tion currently in operation consists of:

                                  a. A central processing unit capable of storing and operating 16,000
(24-bit) words of information and instructions, console typewriter,
                                        and floating point hardware.
