in conjunction with MSFC's Low Gravity Drop Facility. Other areas of activity have in
eluded: methods of predicting vehicle response to unsteady aerodynamic loadings (buffeting),
aerodynamic design of a recoverable reentry data return vehicle, aerodynamic design of a
recoverable booster, prediction of aerodynamic stability parameters for slow speed, wire-
guided missiles, and study of the interference effects of a jet discharging transversely to
a stream flow.
Before joining Chrysler, Mr. Vaughn worked for three years at General Dynamics,
Fort Worth Division, as a Wind Tunnel Test Engineer. This experience included all phases
of wind tunnel work, from test scheduling to final report writing.
