Competition Control Center

Power On

1. The Run Switch must be in memory disable position.

2. Connect the 110 VAC external power u able to external 110 VAC power
source (source line should be as c lean as possible).

3. Connect all scoring boxes and master box to their respective u ables -
cables and boxes are marked.

4. Depress power switch on the computer control panel, thi C O w lighted
switch and should be lit when power is on.

5. Turn Teletype Switch to line position.

6. Turn logic voltage supply on, the switch is located inside the
system cabinet and can be accessed by removing a cover panel in the
adjacent cabinet.

7. Turn 28 volt power supply on, its switch is located immediately beneath
the computer.

System Check Out

1. Depress Reset Button on the control console of the computer - All lap
count lights and the Add Lap Light should be lighted, if pit stop
switches are down no lights other than those just mentioned should be on.

2. Turn each pit stop switch on and observe that its associated light
comes on.

3. Turn register select switch on control console of the computer to the P
position and depress the clear switch on the control console.

4. Depress switch corresponding to bit position 8 - the light associated
with this bit should be lit.

5. Observe that the sense switch labeled SENSE and manual execute switch
labeled MAN EX are in the off position.

6. Move Run Switch to the run position.

7. Momentarily depress the Cycle Switch - this will initiate the program
and nLT=n should be typed on the Teletype.

8. "LT” means lap time and the estimated lap time for the specific track OUT ,
should be typed in followed by a period, e.g. 26. If an error is made
type any character other than a period as the third character. This
will allow the operator to retype the line.
