Trip Report to Detroit July 18-21, 1969
The writer and Mr. H. R. Killen reported to the Engineering O ffice at
Highland Park to install instrumentation on the Charger Daytona test vehicle and
participate in a special high speed test at the Chelsea Proving Ground Sunday,
20 July.

Friday afternoon,^evening, and Saturday were spent re-installing several
transducers, repairing the power supply (damaged by an unexpected overload
from the simultaneous power requirement of the four displacement transducers),
repair of damaged wiring, checkout, and calibration of the system.
Sunday high speed performance testing began on the vehicle on the 4.7 mile
high speed track at Chelsea.
The following transducers appeared to be operative at the beginning of tests:
* Event Marker
Accelerometers vertical
Accelerometers longitudinal
Accelerometers Lateral
Right front displacement transducer
Right rear displacement transducer
Left front displacement transducer
Water temperature
Yaw meter
* Wheel speed
