Tuesday afternoon the writer reviewed the Rapid Heat presentation material with
Mr. Dawley and made detail revisions to suit the audience.

Viewgraph slides had been prepared for the presentation and a wall PERT type
flow chart of the mainstream engineering activities.
After the presentation, Mr. Brauberger requested that we prepare more detail
on the Phase I activities which were proposed originally to be performed by Detroit, but
■that now were to be performed by Huntsville at Mr. Dawleys suggestion. He also suggested
that we limit our Phase I costs to around $15,000 since this would be relatively easy to

and felt that we had a much better chance of success starting off on a better engineering
basis than previous attempts. They felt that this presentation revised per suggestions
would be saleable with Mr. Gleason and funding could be obtained for Phase I activities.
The writer returned with Mr. Dawley and Mr. Shirk and formulated preliminary
plans for detail test activities for Phase I to reduce engineering time and costs. Upon
return to Huntsville the presentation wilHje^x^efined to reflect these changes,and those
