Pluragard 601 is a 2-component system yielding a light-weight foam that
may be applied by most conventional spray equipment. The two components
are used in a 1:1 ratio and incorporate a continuous color indicator giving
a creamy raspberry-colored foam. This color, produced by a dye in the resin
component, helps the operator determine if the two components are properly
mixed. If the spray changes color or becomes streaked with ’’fingers" of color,
the components are not being properly metered. Both components are stable
and when stored properly have a demonstrated shelf life in excess of six
months.
Available in bulk and 55-gallon drums, this system can be easily employed
at job sites wherever temperature and climatic conditions permit. No
special environment other than temperature conditions (see application
instructions for detail) is required for application. Pluragard 601
spray-applied foam is priced at only a slight premium over other insulating
foams and meets the needs of the construction industry and others requiring
a highly effective, flame-resisting insulating material.
The successful use of this system depends upon careful adherence to the
application instructions which follow. FaZZuAC to ^ottou) theAe Stecommenda-
