                   Protective and Barrier Coatings

Specific coatings in combination with Pluragard 601 foam have not been
tunnel tested for a Fire Hazard Classification Flame-Spread Plating.
However, when Pluragard 601 foam is exposed to the weather or used in
areas (like flat roofs) where surface water will accumulate, a protective
coating is recommended. Where the foam insulation will be subjected to
temperatures below 32°F., a barrier coating possessing a perm rating of
0.05 perms or lower is required. If the surface of unprotected foam
exposed to sun or ultra-violet light turns brown and becomes powdery, it
should be removed and thoroughly cleaned before coating. Coatings should
always be applied within 48 hours after the foam has been sprayed. The
applicator is advised to consult with the coating suppliers for recommendations
                   concerning protective coatings.

Clean-up Procedure and Post Operative Maintenance

Follow instructions of the gun supplier... this system presents no more
                   difficult problems than conventional systems.

                   SOLVENTS

                   Dimethylformamide — a water-clear, corrosive liquid, with an ester-like
odor, miscible with water and most organic solvents.

Will soften or dissolve hardened urethane material. Good for tn oaking metal
parts. Caution: will dissolve most plastic parts. Use only in area with
good mechanical ventilation. Liquid and vapor are dangerous, Do not inhale
vapors or expose skin to liquid or vapor. AvoZd eye COnZacZ.

Cellosolve* Acetate — ethylene glycol monomethyl ether acetate; a colorless
liquid with a pleasant, characteristic ester odor. Miscible with common
                   organic solvents; soluble in water.

Prevents material from setting up and removes "green" or uncured material.
Will not dissolve hard or cured urethane material. Avotd eye conZacZ.

Methylene Chloride — a non-flammable, colorless, volatile liquid with a
penetrating ether-like odor. Soluble in alcohol and ether; insoluble in water.

Will not soften hard or cured urethane material. Caution: will pit aluminum
and other non-ferrous metals. Avoid inhalation of vapors and excessive ex
posure to the skin. Use in good mechanically ventilated areas. kvotd eye

Note: At no time should the assembled gun be left to soak in any solvent.
