                     Subject: RACE CAR PROGRAM



                          I received a telephone call from C. Deitz, Budget Analyst,
                     Automotive Sales Group. Mr. Deitz had just attended a meeting
                     on the Race Car Program status with the Director, Race Car
                     Program and the subject of additional funds for Huntsville
                     Operations was brought up and it was reiterated that under no
                     circumstances will there be additional monies to continue this
                     program.

                          Please be advised accordingly, as funds will expire prior
                     to the 24th of April according to the current level of spending.
