Trigger Fluidic Valves
Heart of these fluidic position sensors is a nor­
mally closed poppet valve that opens when con­
tact is made from any direction with a 4-in. long
flexible stainless-steel whisker. Two whisker valves
can be mounted on either side of continuously
fed stock to detect buckling or a malfunction
and trigger a shut-down fluidic control signal.

Snap-On Spacer
Insulates Meter From Panel
Snapped on the face of window-mounting panel
meters, these clear acrylic spacers shim the meter
away from the panel in 5/16-in. increments. Each
spacer provides 25 kv insulation, and since they
nest with each other, any number may be used
to gain the necessary isolation between meter
and panel. Spacers are made by Modutec Inc.,
