BROMINEX 7206

High molecular weight coupled with chemically bound
bromine and phosphorous make Brominex 7206 prepolymer an excellent
material for designing permanently flame retardant urethanes.
Levels of Brominex 7206 required to give adequate flame retardancy
cause virtually no change in physical or mechanical properties.

Brominex 7206 is of special interest in the manufacture
of fabric coatings where flexibility, permanent flame retardance
and adhesion to fabric are of critical importance. Various types
of adhesives and coatings can also be formulated for applications
requiring high tensile and tear properties.

Handling and Storage

Storage life of at least three months can be anticipated
if Brominex is kept unopened in its original shipping container.
Opened containers should be flushed with dry nitrogen before reseal
ing to maintain maximum shelf life.
