                                       DRAG RACING DEVELOPMENT TEST SCHEDULE



                  The next drag development test is scheduled for April 13, 14, and 15 at
                  Cecil County Dragway, Cecil County, Maryland. This will be an intake
      A          and exhaust system development test and general shake down for the new
     /F          Duster 4 speed (Vanke) test car. If scheduling can be worked out with
                  the Huntsville equipment, it will be used during the test for measurement
                  of:   front wheel speed, prop shaft speed, engine speed, and acceleration
                  (G loading). The following cars are scheduled for development tests:

                  Sox & Martin's Pro-Stock 70 Hemi Cuda (426 cu.in., 13:1, l.R. Manifold
                  4 Speed at 3000#)

                  This car will be used to optomise the tube length and entrance configura­
                  tion on the l.R. intake manifold. The dynamometer developed 2-1/4" headers
                  package will then be tested and if time permits an STX 24 cam will be
                  evaluated.

                  Ed Miller's Pro-Stock 68 Hemi Cuda (426 cu.in., 13:1, A-990 Ram Manifold,
                  STX 22 Cam, 4 Speed at 300077

                  This car will be used to compare A-990 cross ram intake and Edelbrock
                  (RR2) staggered ram with the dynamometer developed 2-1/4” header packages.

                  Arlan VankeTs Pro-Stock 70 Hemi Duster (426 cu.in., 13:1, A-990 Ram
                  Manifold, 590 Cam, 2-1/8 x 30 - 3-1/2 x 12 Headers, 4 Speed at 3000#)

                  This will be the first running on this new test           car and     1 i
                  shake down. This car will also be available as            rd  back-u  c  ar in case  o
                  failure of other test cars. If time permits, evaluation of a red strip                 C D
    V />          4 speed transmission (2.65 - 1.64 - 1.19 - 2.57) will be made.

                  The next future test will be a        local test when weather permits in late
                  April or early May  and wi11 be        -  shake down of the 4 sp eed clutch flight
                  Spehar test car.
